The right property at the right price

When it comes to fees, because our services are designed to save you time and money, hiring Robinson Davies pays for itself. Even then, we aim to keep our fees low while offering services that really add value to what we do and make your life easier. At Robinson Davies, we will go the extra mile and customise our services to meet the individual needs of our clients, always being transparent on pricing upfront, so there’s no nasty shock when it comes to billing.

London property search

There are two types of fees applicable for property searches: a retaining fee and success fee. Retaining fee – Paid prior to the search and fully deductable from the success fee. Success fee – Calculated as a percentage of the final purchase price and paid after completion of the legal work or twenty-one days after contracts are exchanged, whichever occurs first.

London rental search

Again, two types of fees are applicable for rental property searches: Retaining fee – Payable upon instruction prior to the commencement of the search. Success fee – A small percentage of the annual rent, payable when the rental agreement is signed.

NEGOTIATION ONLY

Negotiation fees can vary from case to case, depending on complexity and time involved. However, we will do our best to determine fees in advance, payable when contracts are exchanged.

SALES ASSISTANCE

Retaining fee – Paid before the search starts and fully deductable from the success fee. Success fee – Calculated as a percentage of the final purchase price and paid after completion of legal work or twenty-one days after the contracts are exchanged, whichever occurs first.

AREA FAMILIARISATION / ORIENTATION ONLY

Accompanied area orientation tours are available for up to three areas charged at a daily rate. On every tour, you will be accompanied by an experienced property expert who will offer advice on properties, as well as local information on facilities, etc. These tours are ideal for those planning to move to a new area. Tailored services also available, simply ask when contacting us.

INTRODUCTION ONLY

Terms and fees vary depending on the work involved. However, we will also try to offer an accurate estimate at the outset and let you know any additional charges, if applicable. Introduction fees are payable when the contracts are exchanged.
